Joanne & Brian’s Pittsburgh Engagement Session

Joanne and Brian now live in Atlanta, but flew back to Pittsburgh for their engagement session, to visit family, and finalize some wedding planning! They both love the city, so we decided on a handful of their favorite Pittsburgh locations for their engagement session: The Monongahela Incline (where Brian proposed!), Mt. Washington, Station Square, The Strip District, and The North Shore. Congratulations Joanne and Brian – and we look forward to your wedding in April! I shot these images for Zini Productions. Nicole & Simon’s Wedding at The Edgewood Club Pittsburgh

Nicole and Simon were married October 8, 2011, at Calvary Episcopal Church in Pittsburgh, with their reception following at The Edgewood Club. Both Nicole and Simon are cellists who are founders of the rock cello group Cello Fury. I had the opportunity to hear them play in April at the Pittsburgh Glass Center while shooting with Alisa, and they are incredibly talented musicians. I had never heard of a rock cello group – so it was definitely a new experience!

Needless to say, Nicole and Simon had plenty of music interwoven into their wedding, some of which they arranged! I was working with Alisa, who was a natural fit as their photographer as she is both a great photographer and a classically trained violist.

Lisa & Kyle’s Wedding at Soldiers & Sailors Hall in Pittsburgh

Lisa and Kyle’s Pittsburgh wedding was  October 1, 2011, with their reception at Soldiers and Sailors Hall in Oakland. Their wedding was a blast! The bride and groom (along with the bridal party) loved to dance – which is makes capturing great wedding reception photos  a lot of fun.  I was shooting promotional photography for Zini Productions.
